Is there anything you can put down?

Red peonies arranged against gold and green background

When big change is underway, when we’re in the turbulence phase … it is really great to put things down if you can.

Anything you don’t need to carry right now.

Beliefs, possessions, addictions.

Relationships that don’t quite work no matter how much you try.

Stuff you’ve got stored for just in case, but it’s been ten years.

Old wounds you’ve been nursing.

Regrets.

What if the things we’re carrying could be put down and returned to the earth?

What if they were seeds?

Like squirrels, we tend to store more than we need.

For squirrels, that’s a smart strategy. They are planning against rivals, rot, and rugged winters. Squirrels plant the oak forests with their over-burying risk management.

What if you could put some things down and bury them in the earth?

You might lighten up and get more agility for this turbulent moment.

Plus, perhaps … you might be planting tomorrow’s forest.

Remember, you’ve got this.

And the world needs you.
